2006 Mass Technology Leadership Awards

 

The 2006 Mass Technology Leadership Awards program spotlights the companies, the people, and the technologies that exemplify the best in the Massachusetts technology community.  The program builds upon the traditions of both the Massachusetts Software Council and NEBATA, of recognizing outstanding achievement in innovative development and application of information technology.

30-second elevator pitch

Awards Gala - October 11

Mass Technology Leadership Council Gala Awards Banquet - October 11, 2006:

Cocktails, networking, dinner, keynote presentation; Winners announced

Two awards presented in each category – one for information technology vendors/developers, one for information technology users/implementers.

1. B2B Applications

a. Business to Business IT products or services

b. Innovative implementation of B2B IT products and services

2. Systems/Tools/Infrastructure

a. Security, tools, Internet IT products and services

b. Innovative implementation of IT Infrastructure products and services

3. Emerging Technologies/Clusters

a. Technologies in emerging areas including growth areas served by the Council’s technology Clusters: Robotics, CSID (Controllers, Sensors, RFID), Software as a Service, Open Source

b. Innovative Implementation of these technologies

4. Communications

a. Wireless, VOIP, mobile technology products and services

b. Innovative implementation of Communications products and services

5. Consumer/Education

a. IT Products and Services developed for consumer or education markets

b. Innovative implementation of consumer/education IT products or services
